Built on the SCDOT construction performance model, our framework converts subjective judgement into an auditable 80% objective / 20% subjective score — across safety, quality and execution.
Objective metrics drive 80% of the score; structured professional judgement informs the rest — so results are consistent, comparable and transparent.
Raw score indexed to Experience Modification Ratio
Quality Management Team audit scoring
Final acceptance & certifications on time
First-pass acceptance & minimal rework
Each component is computed from documented formulas, then indexed to a common scale — no guesswork, fully auditable.
The safety raw score is tied to the contractor's Experience Modification Ratio. A lower EMR earns a higher index — e.g. an EMR of 0.92 maps to ~79% (≈ 11.9 points).
Quality Management Team field audits feed the raw score; follow-up audits supplement — they don't replace — the original. Audit indices of 40% and 90% average to 65% (≈ 13.0 points).
Claims only affect the score if a certified claim is partially denied by the DRB or ALC. Example: $500k claimed, $300k awarded (40% denied) across 7 projects → ~42.9% index (≈ 4.3 points).
Bring us your projects and we'll stand up an objective, defensible performance framework.
